Have a request. Could you mapmakers (Chemkid and MakeeLearn) shift the New Georgia Islands down and to the left just a few pixels?

Reason is Babes is adding Seghe Point and Rendova bases and it looks a bit goofy to have Rendova base just sitting in the middle of the water. Our pwhexe file has an island there (so that part is ok) but it would be nice to have it mirrored in graphics.

This is how we jiggered up the regular map. Thought you all would like to know so you can do something similar. Doing this does not affect any of the stock games; Munda is still Munda. So the graphics can be modified for both stock and extended maps with no issues.

PS. You can get rid of the reef on the hex edge west of Kolombangara. There was (is) nothing west of K except Ranongga and Ghizo Islands, both surrounded by wide, deep water, straights. It is open, deep, water all the way to Rendova and beyond.

Ok, so it still looks goofy with the reef there. Here is a little better presentation with Ranongga and Ghizo Islands in place of the reef thing.

Is this for stock and extended maps running a Babes scenario only?

For stock map, stock scenario ?

If you move the New Georgias as indicated, it makes sense to do the same graphics for all maps (stock and extended). It maintains consistency, and does not affect anything. Map graphics are just visual background. Stock games will have the “reef” hex edge defined in the stock pwhexe file. They will play the same regardless of the graphics. If you want to move the reef, too, that’s fine. Just trying to save you some hassle and keep things from looking goofy.
