Thing to note with the last point: Each allied invasion looked rather weak, so in that perspective I can understand Germans thinking about counterattacking, although not at +4. What do I consider an invasion in force? My current Allied invasion of France counts 10 Allied corps and 6 divisions, with 9 more corps and 10 divisions waiting in transports/AMPHs for next impulse. Maybe a bit more than optimal, but to get an idea... Curious about next AAR.
