I have been "cutting" my teeth on Battleground Italy. What preference setting should I be using to "see" the Axis ground attacks against my WA units.

If you have Combat Resolution Message Level set to 1 you should see the combat windows pop up during combat. You can increase the CR Close Delay if you want the battle report window to stay up longer after each battle so you can read the results (I think that impacts the AI and the human player battles).

Thanks. So if I understand you correctly, I won't see the actual Axis units attacking, but rather the results of the combat. I'll have to play with those settings then.
