Ilias -> Game developing ? (2/17/2017 4:18:58 PM)

Would greatly appreciate if someone would answer few questions:
1.Why in game is no ability to normally choose air loadout (ordnance per hardpoint)
__ weight (max weight; speed,maybe conditions.. affectings,
__ some ordnance&ordnance per vehicle rules |attached picture|
(if no: why? , will be?) ?
2.Is any way to locally edit database (if no: why? , will be?) ?
3.Is any cargo system (unit in unit)
__ weight,
__ per unit max cargo dimensions
(if no: will be?) ?

1) Loadouts are realistic and are able to be chosen. Plenty are available for what ever operation(s) you are planning. If you don't have what you want, consult the scenario editor where you can edit the weapons and magazines should you require.

2) No only in the PE version.

3) Many cargo lifter aircraft have cargo loadouts that effect weight which then changes fuel consumption/max range etc.

As far as I know, it depends on the magazines of munitions available at the aircraft's base. If you got a full base or carrier with max loadout, you should have plenty of choices regarding what ordinance to load on your planes, but it wont let you do unrealistic loadouts.

The ability to edit the Database is limited to the Professional version (used by defense contractors and real world militaries). But there still is plenty present in the Database for you to work with.

And yes from what I understand, the amount of stuff a plane is carrying does affect its range, that is why there is always the "ferry" option under loadouts.

1."where you can edit the weapons and magazines should you require" (stored ? (if yes: how you see it connected to question?))
imagined limitation realistic..
each hardpoint always getting filled personally, by preset: some times; but hell rediculous is that what you can arm aircraft only by few, listed ways.
2.thanks, sadly.
3."CARGO SYSTEM (UNIT IN UNIT)"

HalfLifeExpert -> RE: Game developing ? (2/17/2017 5:21:28 PM)

I'm not quite sure what it is you are asking, and it is a little hard to follow your post.

You cannot edit weapons themselves (change their stats), and as far as I know you cannot put ordinance on planes that wouldn't fit or be able to carry or use them (i.e. you cannot put AMRAAMs on P-3 Orions).

As far as the magazines, you can put whatever ordinance you want in them when you build a scenario, or edit them in the scenario if you play in scenario editor mode, but that would be cheating [:D]

yeaah ) , thank you for answer and for project of course ) ,
also counting that awesome news feels like can become more important presence of smaller units and wanted to ask:
land forces going to become customly combineable ? (each land active is a list of units, adding vehicle|inf. squad to active adding it' weapons to active' armament)

What about per hardpoint editable loadout?
