Hello,

Please can someone mod the game to add the option to change the duration of the war in custom scenario?

For example, make the duration of the war 2 weeks instead of the original 1 week

Hi UnderThunder,

You can change the maximum number of days via a mod, up to a maximum of 25 days.

That said, it would require a major mod. You can't just bump the number of days up as there is a lot of 'per day' data that would need to go along with it (fire support, force pools, etc.) as well as graphical changes to the UI in the editor and the strategic map to support more days. It is doable, just a lot of work.

You can start by looking at the Campaign.txt and FPools.txt files in the data\base\ directory. There is a data workbook for the previous game (Panthers in the Fog) and some utility programs, both of which will help with figuring out how to mod Gateway to Caen. They can be found here:
