I was thinking if it would be one of the features in the game. Many games have not it. If your own fire can kill your own units by mistake, it is realistic.

Other typical situation would be if you can fire and kill the enemy vehicle crews. At least with a indirect fire. Just because they were in front of your guns.

From what I believe there was friendly fire in close combat games. If you place an MG in a multistory building a fire on something around 200m meters away and then make infantry run through this it will kill your own men. Also if you have units between your target and a big gun if the shot lands short it will kill your own guys or even a tank. This has happened loads of times with SU152s for example in CC3. Your units wont fire on their own men but can still be killed by your own fire.

This is the case all the way back to CC2 at least

And in the new game?

Always had multistore buildings at CC and BF has not it.;)

Friendly fire was in the original Close Combat engine, sort of. MGs could hit friendlies that moved between the MG and the target at the time it fired, but other than explosions, that's about it.

In TBF we have projectiles flying through the air from the firer to the target. Anything they run into in flight gets hit. So friendly fire is a much greater danger. To the point where the soldier AI pays attention to when it can happen in TBF, which it basically never did the old engine (other than refusing to fire if friendlies were literally in the target area.)

Is there proyectiles as a 3D model?

No - in general they're both too small and moving too fast to see, so there aren't any models. But there are 'tracer' type tails to show them flying.
