cns180784 -> [ANSWERED] SSM Btn- Iskander M SRBM. (4/3/2017 5:01:59 PM)

Hi would like to first say thanks for the latest patch, the lag has totally gone and runs smoothly again. This SSM Btn has 8 of these Iskander M missiles and i want it to fire all 8 at a SAM Btn and it does fire all 8 but not in quick succession like a lot of other guided missile platforms can.

I'm expecting this to be legitimate in that this Iskander Btn cant fire all 8 at once and that after watching a video of this in action on You Tube, would this be due to the immense back blast they cause? or is this indeed a bug with the game?

As i'm not expecting this to be a bug, i decided to post this here rather than the tech support forum, thanks.

A battalion having 8 missiles doesn't mean it has them all on TELs; do they show as reloading after the first ones launch?

Take a look at WRA's.

All 8 missiles are loaded ready to fire on TEL's.

I had the SSM Bn fire manually at the SAM Bn, manually allocating them to the target with all 8 missiles. After the first one fires, the next one fires after the first one has travelled 40nm and so on till the target is destroyed or the last missile has been fired, so doesnt seem to have anything to do with the WRA.

OK thanks. See that too.

The ROF on the mounts themselves are 60 with two missiles in each (4 mounts per facility). You should at least be able to get groups of 4 salvo'd together.

I do see the behavior if allocated to the same target even with WRA changed. However seems to work much better against multiple targets.

Will have the guys take a look.

Mike

Ok thanks for checking this out.

Would just like to know where is this info for ROF? you say its 60 with 2 missiles per mount i dont know what you mean. I just see it as the missiles are ready to fire and theres' 8 all loaded ready to fire with 2 loaded on each mount with there being 4 mounts so there should be no problems firing all 8 in one salvo. Also theres' no more missiles on magazines its just the 8 that are loaded ready to fire from the start and thats it, no more ammo.

Rof (rate of fire) can be viewed in the database. In the attached picture you can see that Iskander Bn has 4 TEL, and each TEL has capacity 2 (2 missiles) and Launch interval (or ROF) is 60, so the interval between the 2 missiles is 60 seconds.For your case you if you assigned targets for the 4 TEL's then you should see 4 launched missiles and after 60 sec another 4.
