Whats the best way to delay DOW from USSR? If planning a Sealion a need to know. cShould I station more or less trps in Poland ,and what the latest war with Russia can be delayed? Seem in the old SC game latest USSR would DOW is May of 42.

When you DOW neutrals it ups USSR Readiness for War. I played a game where I avoided Benelux/Greece and the opponent didn't trigger Yugoslavia and I think I was at war in the Winter 41-42ish

Egypt triggers USSR readiness, so you could delay that. You could also spend money on Diplo-Chits... I'm not sure about what Denmark and Norway does honestly, but it's also possible to avoid bringing them in if it's say 5-6^% hotseat that

So the amount of trps stationed in Poland has no effect?

The book says 2 and 4 units around Warsaw by a certain point. I just keep 4 there for safe keeping in case I forget. Too many, you will push it. The book states I believe 19 units within 10 hexes of Warsaw. That will have a random push on USSR Readiness. SO you have to plan that out pretty perfectly if you want to balance it. I think I have pushed it along a tiny bit too much or I could have gotten a couple more months...

immediately after Polish Surrender this does not seem to have an effect thankfully. That would be irritating.
