PrinceMiskin -> How to run this on my GeForce (4/4/2017 3:27:33 PM)

Hi,

I have a board integrated GPU and a GeForce GTX980M one. The application is always running on the integrated GPU, I believe I can gain some performance by running it by default on the GTX 980M.

I have assigned the application "SC3-WWII War in Europe.exe" to choose bydefault the GeForce in the NVIDIA panel, but the application is still running on the board integrated GPU.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mysh

I Have two Video Cards as well.. Hmm, how is it your running both at the same time, do you have duel monitors? My thoughts were if you're plugged into one you will access that one if you're using a desktop. Now in another situation like a Laptop I'm not as well versed but if you go into system and disable your onboard GPU you should be able to force run any and all programs with the better graphics card. I will be completely honest though this is no high end graphics. They're very good for a Hexagon wargame but I highly doubt you will see a drastic performance increase there. More from the calculations of your CPU and Ram cause this is math intensive rather than graphic intensive. That's my two cents but I'm sure there may be another solution. You tried googling how to force an App to run on your chosen Graphics Card.

I've got a Radeon installed 7series

and a Intel onboard, absolutely not different for games like these. Not even Civilization 5

Well I know how to force run an application by my GeForce from NVidia panel. However, it does not work for this game. Seems like a bug.

Anyway, I agree that the game is CPU limited, but I have a thing for trying. :-)

Open the Nvidia Control Panel and locate Manage 3D Settings. Change, in both Global and Program, the Preferred Graphics Processor to High Performance NVIDIA Processor.

I have already explained that this does not work for this game somehow, hence asked for advice.
