I dont think there is a way to look over the game map while waiting for your opponent to move and i dont think there was a way in the previous version. It would be great to load up the map and check your positions, income, reports etc while waiting for the opponent to make a move. Anyone know if this would ever be added or is it already doable?

In SC2 you could play in network mode. Both, the map and the opponent's movements within sight were observed by the passive player. One of the few "old" features I missed very much and which were lost (as expected) with the change to Matrix/Slitherine. [8D]
