Thanks Sunburn, looking forward to the chains of war DLC...

Raptorx7_slith -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/12/2017 1:38:57 PM)

You guys are awesome!

Dide -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/12/2017 1:45:11 PM)

Thanks!!!

ParachuteProne -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/12/2017 2:38:07 PM)

So if major features of "Chains of war" are in this release candidate 1.12 then Chains of War release itself must be very close :)

lamboman43 -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/12/2017 6:59:48 PM)

Let's enable those CoW features asap! :D

HalfLifeExpert -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/12/2017 7:08:16 PM)

My dad is going to be VERY happy about the 2x speed addition!

Primarchx -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/12/2017 7:43:25 PM)

Can't wait to try 2x!

DWReese -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/13/2017 12:42:34 AM)

I downloaded this file today. The Build is touted as 936, but after it has been unzipped and installed, it indicates that it is Build 935. Was this an oversight, or did I do something wrong? I obtained the file from the top location, and it is titled 936.

Doug

TYHo -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/13/2017 12:58:58 AM)

I noticed there's an empty "WW2DB" folder in the pack... does it mean a WW2 Database is in the works? And we can create WW2 scenarios eventually? [:D]

ShadowB -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/13/2017 1:46:54 AM)

Awesome work!

I figure this will roll out on Steam once the candidate's locked in as the actual release?

mavfin -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/13/2017 2:16:46 AM)

ShadowB, you can put this over the top of your Command directory in your Steam Library just fine.

I'm showing Build 936, and I LOVE the 2x. Interestingly enough, even in this update pack (at least on DB3K) the included scenarios are a DB behind the latest.

(Of course I made a copy of the directory to another location before merging the update into the running location...)

DWReese -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/13/2017 3:25:44 AM)

I see the new 2x speed, so I know that I have the upgrade. I wonder that since I got my via the regular download, and you got yours via stream, perhaps they are different since mine shows as build 935, and not 936. Or, perhaps there is another reason?

Doug

Dimitris -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/13/2017 4:24:10 AM)

Hi Doug,

There was an error in packing at the first upload. This was rectified soon afterwards. If you download the pack again now you will get the correct B936 exe. Thanks!

Command v1.12 Release Candidate (Build 936.1)

Download: Superseded by Build 936.2

To install: Unzip the contents to your existing Command installation folder, answering Yes to any overwrite prompts.

NOTE #1: Backup your existing installation.
NOTE #2: You must have an existing working v1.11 SR7 installation. Sitting over an older installation is not supported and may have unpredictable results.
NOTE #3: The major new features of the "Chains Of War" DLC are included in this build but disabled. They will be enabled when the DLC is installed.

Build 936.1 Release Notes (changes/additions since Build 936)
=============================================================================================

* Fix for Steam workshop issues
* Hide speed info for fixed facilities/groups
* Fixed: Helo climbs after last Hellfire and gets killed by SAM
* Fixed: Aircraft with Stand-off enabled doesn't fire all weapons on first pass
* Fixed: Doctrine crash for waypoints

* Improved support for 4K/UHD screens. Hopefully this will make the current awkward workaround unnecessary.

Steps:

1) Set your UHD screen's resolution to its native one, and the DPI setting to the one most suitable for you (4K screens often use 125-200% DPI).

2) On the \PreRequisites folder, there is a new file "PreferExternalManifest.reg". Run it, and it will add a registry key. (This will normally be handled by the installer)

3) Run Command. The UI should now lay out correctly without any distortions. Let us know!

Command v1.12 Release Candidate (Build 936.2)

Download: Superseded by Build 936.3

To install: Unzip the contents to your existing Command installation folder, answering Yes to any overwrite prompts.

NOTE #1: Backup your existing installation.
NOTE #2: You must have an existing working v1.11 SR7 installation. Sitting over an older installation is not supported and may have unpredictable results.
NOTE #3: The major new features of the "Chains Of War" DLC are included in this build but disabled. They will be enabled when the DLC is installed.

Build 936.2 Release Notes (changes/additions since Build 936.1)
=============================================================================================

* FIXED: [B936.1] Possible memory leak (linked to 4K tweak?)
* Improved checks for possible memory leaks & related crashes

We are not distributing this RC through Steam for the time being. You can, however, install it manually over your Steam-CMANO installation folder. If you are uncertain about it maybe it is better to wait for the official release.

Matsuru -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/13/2017 6:43:40 PM)

Oké,no problem,instelling now[:D]

mavfin -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/13/2017 7:10:25 PM)

If doing this from a Steam installation, just keep in mind to keep a copy of other changes/downloads you make after applying these RC updates, because they might be lost when Steam updates to the 'final' revision of this pack when the time comes.

deagu -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/13/2017 7:11:04 PM)

Thank you for the "Improved support for 4K/UHD screens". Works great on my Surface Pro 3. [:)]

BrianinMinnie -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/14/2017 8:33:36 PM)

Can I update with just Command v1.12 Release Candidate (Build 936.2) or do I need to use Command v1.12 Release Candidate (Build 936) then (936.1) then (936.2)?

Thanks

Eggstor -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/14/2017 11:23:46 PM)

As long as you have v1.11 SR7 (or later) installed, you can directly update with the latest Release Candidate.

mavfin -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/15/2017 12:22:09 AM)

The only thing I've run into so far since 936.2 is a seeming reluctance for ASW helos to launch on intercept missions from the deck. But I've only had 2 occurrences. If I launched the helo myself, it merrily flew on its mission as it should. Just didn't take off like it should w/o intervention. Everything else mission-controlled has launched fine, including ASuW helos on a mission from the same ship. Anyone else seen this yet? I'll test some more later, and see if I can verify the error, or not.

Mav

P.S. Did I already mention that I love the X2? Ok, so I did. I said it again!

MrClock -> RE: Command v1.12 Release Candidate (4/15/2017 5:05:50 AM)

A little distortion in UHD display (2560x1440 - 150% DPI)

What's your DPI setting?

Hi, can you double-check that you followed the instructions for the 4K fix? : http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/fb.asp?m=4268618

Thanks.
