There aren't that many people playing the original WitP anymore. There is support for WitP AE and the AE forum is the most active on this site.

I don't know why they haven't dropped the original from their catalog or deeply discounted it. AE has had some capabilities added to work with modern video cards and multi-core processors, but they were never added to the original game. I expect it would play very slowly on a modern machine.

WitP may have been in Matrix's catalog so long they forgot it was there.

To whom interested; WIPT where the biggest effort Game for Matrix-games since this game Matrix-games reach on popularity all over the WORLD so we have a Big respect for this game; but i can support every-player; just open a new threahd at properly; and i will support it (extra-unoficcial-inside-iligal-support)
