Please correct me if I am wrong:

#GAME_RESEARCH_MENU_TEXT_6= Each new level of Naval Weaponry research improves the Naval Attack, Carrier Attack, Naval Defense, and Resource Attack values for all types of air units except for Fighters and Escort Carriers.

Is there only an effect "for Fighters and Escort Carriers" nor Naval units?

What truely is wrong is the following German localization:

#MOVES_GOVERNMENT_TO= berlegt Regierung nach
#CMD_SILENT= Schleichfahrt
#UNIT_SURRENDERS= hapituliert
#RESEARCH_ID_21= Geschossproduktion

must be:

#MOVES_GOVERNMENT_TO= verlegt Regierung nach
#CMD_SILENT= passiv/ruhig
#UNIT_SURRENDERS= kapituliert
#RESEARCH_ID_21= Munition

Hi Amadeus,

For the first part, if I'm understanding correctly your question here, I believe the text is correct in that the new levels only apply to Carriers, Tactical Bombers, Medium Bombers etc. and not to Fighters and Escort Carriers.

For the translations could you shed some light on what is incorrect about them, perhaps indicate what the differences are if the translations are shown back in English so we have a better understanding?

OK Hubert.

Text 6 is for Naval Weaponry and so I guess it makes better weapons for Naval Vessels too. But I am not sure. If so it could be like this in German:
#GAME_RESEARCH_MENU_TEXT_6= Jede neue Stufe erhöht für alle Seeeinheiten und alle Lufteinheiten außer Jagdflugzeugen und Geleitflugzeugträgern die Angriffswerte gegen die Zieltypen Seeeinheit, Flugzeugträger und Ressource sowie den Verteidigungswert gegen den Zieltyp Seeeinheit.

The other localization terms:
Just a typo (V not b): #MOVES_GOVERNMENT_TO= verlegt Regierung nach
Because this is for Artillery too you cannot say Schleichfahrt (Schleichfahrt is correct for subs but not Ari): #CMD_SILENT= passiv/ruhig
Another typo (k not h): #UNIT_SURRENDERS= kapituliert
This is not good German (maybe minor importance): #RESEARCH_ID_21= Munition

Thanks Amadeus, this makes sense about the translations and for the Naval Weaponry I see that the text has been updated on our end to the following in English:

Each new level of Naval Weaponry research improves the Naval Attack, Carrier Attack, Naval Defense, and Resource Attack values for all surface combat vessels and all types of air units except for Fighters and Escort Carriers.

For German it is now this:

Jede neue Stufe erhöht für alle Überwasserkriegsschiffe und Lufteinheiten außer Jagdflugzeugen und Geleitflugzeugträgern die Angriffswerte gegen die Zieltypen Seeeinheit, Flugzeugträger und Ressource sowie den Verteidigungswert gegen den Zieltyp Seeeinheit.

Does this look correct on your end?
