This will be my first attempt at playing the allies in a PBEM. I have no idea what I'm doing[:D].
Dec 7- Pearl Harbor the Arizona is torpedoed by a mini sub! Its WAR!
KB and land based air strikes Clark and Subic bay. 20 subs are sunk but the FEAF survives. Jap paras drop on
dot hex north west of Manila in an attempt to cut off retreating units. He lands inf at Jolo.
Burma- Nells and Betties pound Singapore, shutting down the airfield and port, at a cost of 13 Nells. Imperial forces land at
Kota Bahru and Mersing. P.O.W. battle group heads south to avoid IJN torpedo bombers.
Dec 8- Jolo. Boise strikes at the landing fleet, she cripples a DD and takes a torp hit. Houston rolls in next sinking the cripple and chasing off the
other DD, she scatters the landing fleet but the island still falls.
Mersing- Naval surface actions thru out the day. The P.O.W. group heads for the landing beaches. Light cruisers and destroyers run into a force of jap CAs
minor damage to all sides. ADM Phillips and his battleships arrive, only the light forces engage causing minor damage.
South China Sea- British DDs out of Hong Kong raid Tako, they sink a loading AP then they bombard the airfield.
The KB has been spotted entering the Sulu sea, my surface forces will attempt to stay out her reach. Maybe a dutch sub will get lucky.
