Guess it's a pretty dumb question on my side after so much time... but anyway here it goes...

If i set up an scenario using the Editor, with an AI-only controlled side and do not define any Mission for its units, but only ROE, Postures and some events, how will it act?

I mean: Will the AI automatically devise and implement specific missions (i mean, internally, as part of the software program of CMANO) and assign units to them based on some given parameters that come already embedded in CMANO?

For example: An event changes posture of the AI Controlled PRC-Side units to "Hostile" against the US-Side. Will aircraft scattered among the chinese air bases devise their own "plans & strategy" to attack the US Forces identified within their reach? Will they proactively search for Hostile Units? Will they even take into account the ability to in-flight-refuel with the available assets? etc.etc.

Not yet.

Alone you may get some defensive fires etc and RTB when fuel is up but that's about it.

You can add some lua stuff go get more but not much.

They will not fly nor sail. The mission editor is the scenario designer's best friend. It's fun and challenging to set up a competent AI.
