I had no idea Germany had operations anywhere near there. Playing this game is a constant source of learning both for the game and for history.

Interesting article, but not exactly "News". For example, the site combinedfleet.com has the TROM of U-862 / I-502 up since at least 2010 : 15 January 1945: Gisborne Harbour, New Zealand. KK Timm takes U-862 into the shallows to reconnoiter the harbor for shipping, but finds no suitable targets. About German operations, here is an interesting article on German Raiders in the Pacific.
