ORIGINAL: MuguNiner a slightly used Thunderbolt? um... Slightly? But yes, this is a Thunderbolt on display at the National Museum of World War II Aviation in Colorado Springs, CO. Most of the aircraft there are more accessible than in some museums and all of the aircraft there are either flying or being restored to flying condition. There are not a lot of planes - maybe 10-15, but it was worth the time. I only spent a few hours there in total, but could easily have spent a few hours in the prop shop at WestPac alone. There was plenty there to interest me for more time than I had. Just to name a few, I didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted to looking at the LINK trainer they are restoring and I had to leave before I could go on my 2nd tour of the restoration facility where they had a B-25, Corsair (in pieces), Thunderbolt, and a Tigercat in for Annuals.
