Managed to make Oman hostile one of their PT boats fired on a Tomahawk passing overhead. oh well will try again and the sub which is nowhere near any ASW assets it a nice touch kept having to play chicken with it and an OHP. Could I also ask for a few JP233s for the RAF detachment. Also there doesn't appear to be any spare bailouts cluster bombs bar what's on the jaguars

Bailout damn spell check that should be beluga

Gunner98 -> RE: New Scenario for testing Indian Fury 1: Persian Pounce (3/8/2018 11:57:02 PM)

Gotta love spellcheck. See my comment at Post #60 for the Omani. In this very crowded space you need to be very careful where your missiles go. You should probably plot every one of them to avoid situations like this

Will check the ammo for the Brits. Thanks

Could the F15s in Kuwait get more sidewinders I've got loads of sparrows left but can't arm the jets because they need aim9m

Gunner98 -> RE: New Scenario for testing Indian Fury 1: Persian Pounce (7/30/2018 9:38:16 AM)

Roger:

JP233
Bailout cluster bombs[;)]
Aim-9m

I'll also add the Rescue script on the next update.

Cheers.

Worth checking the magazines on all the friendly Airbases... It may be a deliberate decision, but when I played - there were literally 0 extra munitions so it was 1 sortie and that was it (!)

Gunner98 -> RE: New Scenario for testing Indian Fury 1: Persian Pounce (8/2/2018 9:43:20 PM)

Thanks I'll do that. Its meant to be thin but not empty [;)]

OK here's and update, also sent to the community pack.

Mostly ammo and clean up fixes. There are still some ammo scarcities especialy for the BONEs

Hi Gunner,

I am addicted to the Indian Fury set :)
After testing "Red Gate" I started "Persian Pounce".
The scenario run smoothly enough, even on my 7 years old laptop, only on one occasion I got a crash of the game.

I heve read the AAR from Andrew J and now the things appear to be nastier :-))
I lost most of the frigates patrolling the gulf in the initial onslaught, Leftwich and Aliseo were attacked by SSM trying to bring help to the tankers in the strait area being attacked by the iranians fast attack craft.
A note on the iranian Auxiliary Cruisers; their names are still a give-away, moreover they are incompatible with the Iran Islamic Republic ideology, no Navy Officer with survival instinct would christen them Pahlavi, Bakhtiar and Tudeh :-)))).

I have witnessed more than a few cases of friendly fire by the iranians, is this intended?

Great work as usual.

Thanks Andrea. I'm not sure this is intended. Could you describe an incident or two? If it is Soviets firing on Iranian or vice versa - that is possible and simulates lack of coordination, perhaps that is it or simply a missile track going astray.

Glad you're enjoying it.

Unfortunately I haven't recorded the exact circumstances, I just glanced it amid the message box; if it happens again I will send you the details.
