When planes take off they are removed from the air ops screen. Is there another screen other than the map where I can find them?

The OOB (Order Of Battle) on the drop showing briefing, ROEs.etc

Also in the mission editor screen (F11) - all planes assigned to a given mission will be in the top middle box when the mission is selected. All units with no assigned mission will be in the top right list.

As already mentioned the OOB screen, which will show all your units.
This will also show aircraft by mission.

You can click on the aircraft in this screen and it will automatically select that unit on the map and (I think this next bit is correct!) jump to the unit location.

However be aware that this screen does not dynamically update. It shows aircraft state at the time the screen was opened.
If aircraft are lost, land or assigned to new missions it won't update until you close/re-open the OOB window.

Which is a shame, becuase if it automatically updated it would be a really useful screen to keep open all the time to monitor the current state of your forces.
Maybe high time compression sittings might make it difficult to auto update.

I wonder if it might be possible to add a "refresh" button to the OOB window (and some of the other screens, e.g. Special Action and Air Ops). Might be a good way to get around the processing issue and get players the ability to have fresh info without having to exit and re-open :)

Gunner98 -> RE: Air Ops (7/8/2017 7:48:51 PM)

Actually I've been noticing recently that by clicking from mission to mission the window does update. It still requires an action in the window to trigger the refresh but it is very handy.

Hadn't noticed that.
I'm guessing the OOB screen doesn't get used too much at the moment, but with an auto update or even manual refresh I that would change.
It could be a very quick and easy way to keep an eye on your forces, especially in larger scenarios or those where units swap in/out of player control.
