Rugens -> Changing Trade Send Designation (8/9/2017 2:25:18 PM)

Had been having difficulty with designating resources for fulfillment of trade agreements in the last couple of versions.

Just downloaded Version 02.05.05.00

It appears I may not be understanding something or there may still be a problem. If I designate a resource (in the first blank line of the default section) to none, the (TS) now disappears as it should from the text by the resources name in the main display. If I save the game at that point and reload the saved game, the (TS) returns to that resource. I also noticed that if I click recalculate after designating none, the (TS) returns after having gone away.

Similar problem seems to exist when designating a resource for a specific country. The (TS) appears when the designation is made but then disappears when you click recalculate or save and then reload the save.

There are still problems in that area. Steve spend the last couple of weeks looking at the code of Production Planning...

Seems to also be a problem with Seattle factories when trying to set up the US production.

I idled all resources (oil & non) so that I could see how factories were affected. With all resources not producing, Seattle still shows a factory producing.

I could use a saved game with instructions (as simple a case as possible, please) to cause the program to not do what you expect it to do.

I have run 50+ cases/saved games for testing production planning in the past couple of months and I think it is working correctly. But the rules and process are so complex, it is quite possible that there is some case where it still doesn't perform correctly.
