Incredible numbers of people will slam the site when it's been posted there, if it's interesting; going from mebbe a couple hundred hits a day to over 50k is pretty common, from what I've heard, thus the slang term "slashdotted" - Penny Arcade ([url]www.penny-arcade.com[/url]) has a similar, if lesser, effect.
