delatbabel -> Enhancement Request: Army Orders (8/14/2017 11:03:20 AM)

Hi all, long time no post. I am just getting back into the game after a long absence. Here's an enhancement request. While playing some old board wargames there were a few (Jack Rader design) that had a useful feature. You could assign "orders" to your army level commands -- things like mobile, retreat, defence, assault, pursuit, etc. Mobile and retreat orders meant that the units were more likely to give up ground when attacked and less likely to suffer losses, whereas defence or stand orders meant that units would prefer to stand their ground instead of retreating (I recall that the NKVD had a "special form" of this order). Mobile and pursuit gave you extra movement at the cost of combat effectiveness, whereas assault orders sacrificed movement for combat bonuses. How hard would it be to patch some kind of similar system into WitE (2)?
