MarcA -> Bug List (8/21/2017 6:04:54 AM)

Hi Folks

I am just working up the first turn of a grand campaign and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any outstanding serious bugs in AE?

Which scenario? Some mods have unbalanced supply production where too many supplies are produced. Otherwise, I am not aware of any game-breaking bugs.

The Beta has a bug that prevents ports that start as size 0 from using Naval Support, no matter what size they expand to.

Of course then matter what size they are they expand nicely.

The game has been patched and improved many times over the past decade. I don't think there are any serious bugs left. Sync bug will show up once in a while but that is not a game changer.

Should a verb precede a noun, her predicate by definition follows from said noun's antecedent. Are we all clear on this?

And who is this woman who has taken possession of all the predicates?

Only She knows.

Yeah, but it fixes an 'unrep' bug with Allied AE's, which I believe is more important.

I really can't say that there are any/many bugs left that are 'noticeable'.

I don't recall seeing that in the forums (might have missed it) - was it discussed?

Yes, but MichaelM had already been 'forced' to 'move on', so to speak. Also I have experienced it a couple of times in my game. Miri is one site, which is not much of a problem, I just moved everything over to Brunei.

"Not showing up on the Base Screen" could just be a display issue that can be ignored. Not being able to USE the NS is an issue.

I just took dot base Kusaie Island and promptly landed a Port Service unit to help unload more troops and goodies. Unfortunately I did not see this thread until Kusaie Island went to Port 1, and did not save turns so I cannot check unloading progress on a dot base with NS. I will keep an eye on the next dot base I invade.

I recall that I saw the post, had an example in-game and took a peek. I didn't test. Did anyone else?

I didn't test per say, but Miri's oil fields start out with many damaged oil points. So obviously I need supply to get the repairs done. Through experience it was obvious that the supply unloading was not being assisted by the NS available. My fix was simply to move ops to Brunei. From there the supply was unloaded in a day, and moved easily to Miri, which had the demand. Unfortunately this is not possible in every occurrence. Nor is it truly a test.

Aurorus -> RE: Bug List (8/25/2017 7:02:54 PM)

There is also a bug with the Japanese heavy artillery. If one tries to unload 28cm and 30cm guns in a transport TF at a port too small (size 3 or smaller), and without naval support, to offload these devices, the devices will be "teleported" back to the location at which they were loaded. This bug only seems to affect the 28 and 30cm guns, however.

MarcA -> RE: Bug List (8/30/2017 9:06:06 PM)

Thanks for all the replies folks.
