I'm trying to get my B52's to hold position but the hotkey doesn't work and the menu command is grayed out. No matter the scenario I'm playing I can't any unit to hold position. I tried unassigning them from the current mission but they still won't hold position. User error or something bugged?

Units that are unassigned automatically "hold position".

True, but if they're already on a plotted course they stay on that course when unassigned from their missions. That ends up leaving the player with the task of deleting all of their waypoints to get them to hold. I recall hold position working in previous builds just fine so it must've gotten broke somehow in the latest public release.

No, "hold position" never did that to aircraft. The behavior you are asking is something new we would need to add.

This is on my to-do list, its an advanced feature that will be added sometime in the future.
