Lords of Waterdeep; turn based and AI is touted to be good. They are even saying it's so good you don't need to play this multiplayer online but you can. Here's the link to video and of course it's on Steam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KP9O-jeTOU

As usual, very difficult to get a read on the game, with experienced Steam members having conflicting opinions. The game play in the video did seem quite confusing, and I have not played the board game. I don't mind complexity and the price is right, so difficult decision for me as I have way too many games already.

The game is easy to learn and play. It's about reading the VP value of the cards and finding the right ones to shoot you to the front of the victory track. Thing is the AI knows these values very well and it makes it hard to beat. It's two games in one really, a builder game and a puzzle game. Once the template is found future games will be easier vs the AI and then of course there is multiplayer after that. Humans aren't as easy to figure out. [:'(]

Thanks for the response, A. It looks cool and at that price I'll go for it. There's always the Steam refund, but will give it my best shot. Much appreciated!

I couldn't even get through part III of the tutorial and refunded it, and that was with the help of some guy on Steam.
