ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/13/2017 3:12:23 PM)

Two tribes it's empty ATM... at least that' what I'm seeing. You don't have any access at all?

ironduke1955 -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/13/2017 3:52:17 PM)

Twotribes is shown as a member of Dropbox I have created a old turns folder but that's all there is in the folder until the Deadly Germans and the I'm a fascist but I am only doing it as a fashion statement Italians place the first turn in the folder. If Bombur can drop the version of GD1938 that he would like us to use into the folder we are good to go.

Axis was evil as hell, but they were very snazzy dressers... wicked with an artistic flare... and their leaders could pose with the best of them.

Twotribes -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/13/2017 6:22:14 PM)

I dont have any folder in my drop box just the two games I currently am playing, this has happened before for some reason I get notified but don't get the access.

ernieschwitz -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/13/2017 8:49:54 PM)

I believe that dropbox doesn't let you see empty folders. As soon as someone writes anything in it, even a text document, it will become available...

ironduke1955 -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/14/2017 8:03:23 AM)

OK ArmouredLion if you go to VR Designs http://www.vrdesigns.net/scenario.php?nr=151 and down load this version GD1938 v.2.23s and we can get the game started. Germans and Italians are the first to play Good Luck.

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/14/2017 4:53:43 PM)

Okay thanks, sir. Gl to all.

I put AAR folders in the main folder. Inside are individual nation folders for screenshots ad such. If you want you can put a simple text file in their with any youtube vids you find relevant, if that floats your boat. I'll clean them out and take the contents and put them on my comp. to save space. I'll create the AAR on the forum. Let's keep that clean of chit chat and use this for communication outside AAR's. I'll begin producing vids as monthly (game time) roundups (or passing over a coupe of months in the early stage as it's slow to start) and post them on the website and link on the AAR. I'd like to know things like Generals that lead major battles--Generals getting sacked too, screenshot of major battles, new equipment entering the era, ect. It will all add flavor and put color and bring glory to your nation. I have OCD and German ( that might be redundant), so this will be balls to the wall in this attempt at a documentary--all help (critique) is appreciated. Figure, I'll start publishing them after a couple of months of game time as I need to find a flow with the AAR's I'm receiving and stylistic ironing out. I hope you enjoy the documentary.

Also, I believe the VC of this is the new VC's? One member of the team wins the whole team wins... am I correct?

PS. Tom is great at trying to create historical unit and such... I remember reading it on the forum. I could use all the wisdom to try and create a nice visual... no one is required to do any of this BTW. I'll fill in the gaps. The key for this one is fun, fun, fun... and for Axis to win.

ironduke1955 -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/14/2017 7:46:12 PM)

The German OOB is readily available if you can spare the time to change the names on the unit, and add the psychotic men in black.

Yes if the house rules are followed then its what it says on the tin Axis and Allies, I can certainly give a list of generals I have demoted they will be on the obituary columns of Pravda.

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/14/2017 7:58:21 PM)

Just let me know if i should click domestic research or not... not sure. And from what I'm told you need to purge twice to make sure you've got every traitor to the state.

Twotribes -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/14/2017 9:13:21 PM)

I vote FOR domestic Research

ironduke1955 -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/14/2017 9:38:01 PM)

Okay thanks, sir.

Thanks the Knighthood must be lost in the post, if you must use a title then I answer to shift your **** you slovenly land lubber.

I am afraid it will be down to you to create a AAR and make the first entry.

And Domestic Research is fine by me as is shared allied recon as we won't have any shifting allegiances.

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/15/2017 4:22:30 PM)

Okay, Germany / Italy round is up. I'll put the AAR up on the forum by this evening. Given the sheer brilliance of my first turn, I can honestly say the Allies are in big, big trouble...Gl luck all.

Twotribes -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/15/2017 8:20:38 PM)

People are posting and I still don't have access. Do I have to wait for the guy that invited me to post before I see it?

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/15/2017 11:10:41 PM)

Worst case if there are issues Two Tribes we can email the turn to you when China is up. I put folders in there... so you should be able to see. Sorry for the issues, but we got your round coming to you one way or the other.

ironduke1955 -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/16/2017 8:33:12 AM)

I sent Twotribes a second invitation a couple of days ago as he requested I will PM Twotribes with what my records tell me is his e-mail address the Dropbox shows that the individual I sent the e-mail to is a member of the folder meaning they have accepted the invitation to join and should now have access. I could try deleting Twotribes then resending the invitation.

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/16/2017 9:53:36 AM)

I'm smart / stupid when it comes to technology... in this area I'm stupid. Sounds like a good plan to me Tom.

ironduke1955 -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/18/2017 7:45:11 AM)

Twotribes has resolved the issue so no longer a problem.

Twotribes -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/18/2017 11:46:52 PM)

Who is the US been a couple days now.

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/19/2017 10:18:19 AM)

US is played by Ned. Thanks for staying on top of it Two Tribes.

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/20/2017 5:48:00 PM)

Japan is up.

LJBurstyn -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/20/2017 8:24:36 PM)

Turn in dropbox is repeat of turn 1. I await a new turn...

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/20/2017 11:57:40 PM)

Something extremely weird is going on, and I'm disappointing and frustrated. I went to check my other files and now my password for Italy no longer works. I use ONE password: ONE--always. I used it on my last T2 Italian turn and it worked. I used it on my German turn in a redo of USA's T2 and it worked, but it's no longer valid for Italy. I use Steam and it has been acting weird recently, maybe that's it? I am at a total loss and quite pissed. I am almost certain I saved T2 of Japan on that file as I rename when I save.

Twotribes -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/21/2017 12:04:38 AM)

Did you try rebooting your computer?

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/21/2017 12:20:03 AM)

Yeah, I'll do it again, sir. Thanks... I'm furious!!

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/21/2017 12:28:21 AM)

No go... I am at a loss. I supposed no ever experienced this before. I'm a pioneer in issues it would appear. Great.

ironduke1955 -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/21/2017 7:31:12 AM)

I suggest we restart its only one turn in if ArmouredLion can replay the first German turn January 1938. As we are dealing with a lost password seems the option with the least hassle.

ironduke1955 -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/21/2017 7:33:53 AM)

ArmouredLion if you could delete all the previous game turns in the Dropbox before you place the new Japanese turn 1 in the folder.

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/21/2017 8:17:14 AM)

That's the thing... it isn't a lost password. I logged into turn two... I'm going to reinstall the Steam version and then buy a matrix version, because over the last couple of weeks I have been seeing some glitches that I have never seen before. I'm going to work on it now.

ArmouredLion -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/21/2017 9:22:59 AM)

Sorry to all... I did not forget the password, but something on my end has screwed it up. Even the file I sent Larry has a time stamp at when I thought I had saved it. I saved over the Japan Turn 1 file, maybe that was an issue--IDK. I purchased the Matrix edition and will use that going forward. I'll get my round out by today and delete all the files in the inbox... again, my apologizes.

ironduke1955 -> RE: Axis and Allies Via 1938 mod (9/21/2017 10:30:20 AM)

No worries only your first mistake no harm done, though I better warn you a second offence may end up with you hanging from lamp post like Mussolini[:D]
