ORIGINAL: Goodmongo This is what I can't get my head around. From what I've read most PBEM games were very close to 50/50 on who won. So why was the allied player demoralized at a 50% chance to win? Do they expect to win all the time because that was "more historic"? Goodmongo, I don't know if you played the game with the early versions, 1.0 till the changes were made, but the Germans were extremely difficult to stop against competent players. If Moscow was not taken in 41 it was in 42, as well as Leningrad and on their way to the Caucasus. They just ran over everything at will. Their supply was too good. That's the demoralizing part. It was not a 50-50 game situation with two competent players. Whatever strategy you chose it was not going to work. The earlier version had issues and the wise designers realized that. Now there is another adjustment to do IMHO.
