I'm wondering is there going to be a other patch for WITP AE again? I can't change Task Force leaders in my Coral Sea solo game as Japanese and I noticed part of the Historical Briefing was missing for that scn.. Is the Japense TF near GC purposely empty of troops? Also how do you use microsoft paint to add stuff to embeded pictures in your sig. like Slow Moving Target has? [sm=00000436.gif]

I believe you have to be in port to change ship commanders.
Did you dock your task force?

Yes, you have to be in port to requisition another officer, doesn't mean he'll arrive quickly. If you req. an officer or a flyboy while in port or near one, you don't have to be in port or near one to receive them, eventually. You just can't ask for them or rid yourself of the incompetent imbecile you're stuck with until you go to port.

Yea I was in port and it did not work I'll try again one more time. It's weird and never happened to me before.

Never mind I figured it out. Lack of poltical points I assumed I had enough. HAd 1 when I needed two. sorry about that.

Troop loads for invasions only take like two days if a TF is docked. Is that realistic with what happened in real life? Kinda seems like it's not, but IDK. Any of you know if there is a upcoming patch or are they done supporting the game?

No patches. Matrix has officially stopped further support and development but we still get some help from dedicated programmers making changes on their own time and of course from the forum moderators. But the pace of fixes has slowed to a trickle.

Two days would not be unusual IRL for loading a big transport ship with troops and their equipment.

I'm assuming you have he latest official patch and the lastest Beta patch.  Both are important in ironing out bugs and introducing new to the game

I've only played it once, but I'm not even sure you can in such a short scenario.

I have changed leaders in the scn. the many times I have played it. I only play smaller scns. The GC is way too much for me personally, even though I paid the large price of buying the game. I dig the game alot. Really cool, even though there are so many smaller things that could affect combat and the way TFs act, etc..
