ORIGINAL: oxford_guy [...] The manual is very nice, but a few things are out of date, e.g. about how "surprise" works for land units, a whole bunch of stuff has change for naval movement/surprise/AP remaining after attack and some of the dates and other information for Decision Events are different. Best to check the patch notes too... This one may be obvious, but where do I find said patch notes? They aren't in the patch zip folder. quote:
ORIGINAL: Xwormwood Vichyssoise, great news that you found this little gem. Feel at home, sit down, take a cookie. :) This is the real deal, you found solid gold here with Hubert and Bill. Many of us are following this series since nearly two decades, and this game got better and better with every relaase (full game or add-on), and to our great joy, the developers have their ears on the heartbeat of this community. If you have some interest in older releases, try SC WW1 or SC Global Gold, or wait just like the rest of us on the next release of this fantastic game. Tell me about it. I can't stop playing the damn thing. It's too addictive. I'm still cutting my teeth trying to defeat France in 3-4 turns tops to learn the mechanics. Great fun.
