After the conquest of Manchuria COM-CHI, the Conquest phase gets an error and can not proceed even with using earlier autosaves (leading up to the Conquest phase).

Save file and bug report attached.

I have a fix for this conquest bug. [I make small changes and the typos are killing me.[:@]]

Right now I am in the middle of debugging an infinite loop in supply. Once I get that figured out, I'll upload a replacement Hot Patch.

No panic. Bugs happen. All we can do is report them and then you can find the fix.

Unfortunately, the regression test for this beast is humongous. I try to go through an entire turn with a new version before I suggest my other Netplay pals install. However, even with that, there are many different situations that are not covered off with my current game.

A suggestion for you is to keep a bunch of problem area save files in your tool kit for a possibly quicker regression test.

Some such as air, land, naval movement and attacks are pretty obvious, but others like return to base (resulting in overstacking), declaration of war, US entry, production, Vichy (all stages - declaration, collapse, etc), conquest, and reinforcements might help for that pre-release acceptance test. I expect that you probably already have them from previous bugs that you fixed.

I have 3856 saved games in my main directory for Global War. There are probably over 5000 total scattered about in other folders. They aren't all that well organized, but there are some I use a lot for testing after making changes to the code.

Probably a related conquest bug this time first turn conquest phase of Sept/Oct 1939 Global war 2.5.7.2. Cannot pass no matter what I do. Save is from Reform Armies and advancing past this phase the bug will appear.

I thought so. It would probably be worth organizing some of them specifically for those more obscure test cases. It will still be a challenge to go through probably a couple dozen or so save files to verify the regression test.
