Sorry had to make a new thread on this topic as I can't attach a file to a post in a thread I didn't create.

So anyway, I played around a bit with changing some of the german panzers equipment photos, I'd like to hear your feedback and if you think it's worth spending time on making a more comprehensive mod for this.

v0.1 Zip archive in the bottom of this post. The following pieces of equipment had their photo altered:

* Panzer Ib
* Panzer IIc
* Panzer IIf
* Panzer IIL Lynx
* Flammpanzer II
* Panzer IIIe

You can unpack the 6 bmp files into the "Gary Grigsbys War in the West\Dat\Art\photo" folder, but please BACK UP your 'photo' FOLDER FIRST (or backup the original GP0001.bmp through GP0006.bmp) if you don't want to lose the vanilla photos. Also, please be advised you have to restart the game for these photos to load.

So yeah, not making any promises, but would like your feedback if you think it's worth making a mod for this, and/or if you have any suggestions.

i can give you an idea of how they can be the pictures for the infantry represented by an individual soldier like the vehicles.
these photos are different german infantry squad,the photos for the infantry can have a size of 191x320 pixels.

This is really a great idea. I would like to see this mod continued. I am new to witw but many hours logged in with wite. I would also be willing to help with selecting images if you wanted.

Really have never liked the grainy B&W equipment photos in WitE/WitW. The illustrated units in WitP:AE are far better (though WitP of course doesn't have images for all TOE elements, just ships & aircraft).

Would be a huge undertaking to do this but wow would it be fantastic. Thanks @Darojax for contemplating it.
