Are you serious ? It was my last line of defense...

It was auto-routed because of depletion.

looks at the elite line up your up against, surprised you held out at all, para and armored plus support, arty units etc plus engineers by the truck load[:'(][8|]

I'd have to see the unit involved, but the rout should not happen due to retreat (because it was less than 2 to 1). If the unit had a high proportion of it's combat elements damaged and became depleted (less than 10% combat elements still ready), it will rout. The support units involved in the combat would not factor into this. So the Pioneer unit might retain enough CV to keep the odds down, but the main on-map unit would rout due to depletion. The positive in this case is since the odds were kept low, the retreat losses are not as bad as they would have been had the odds been lower (think rearguard). Even so, the high number of retreat losses confirms to me that the unit had a lot of it's elements damaged.

Ah ok, I wasn't aware of the depletion rule. It makes sense. Indeed my units are completely to their knees...
...losing sucks.

Thanks for the quick reply everyone !
