"maybe doubling torpedo accuracy"

and of dedicated antishipping bombs (mission filters)...

Dili -> RE: HUSKY and others (8/1/2018 9:13:40 PM)

That is only relevant for damage not for hitting or not hitting.

adarbrauner -> RE: HUSKY and others (8/2/2018 3:54:55 AM)

Indeed?

if you raise the accuracy of antishipping bombs? let's say with a value of 1 or 2 , or more?

Dili -> RE: HUSKY and others (8/2/2018 5:58:00 PM)

Yes i see now what are you getting at, yes it implies to have weapon filters to improve accuracy of bombing in anti ship mission only (same bomb type also for ASW and Nv Search).

Dali101 -> RE: HUSKY and others (8/3/2018 8:34:40 AM)

The speed of ground units can not be changed.
As Dili wrote. This can be improved by better communication. For example, the hex desert has a patency as a medium road.

And also by rigorous motorisation of units according to reality.

Speed of ships is a more complex issue. I want to keep the original weapons parameters.
The British torpedo (18in Mk XII Torpedo) in the original SCN1 is the same in my mode.

I will continue to test and play (thanks to everyone for PBEM). It is possible to return to the original speeds of the ships. The player will have a certain strategic disadvantage in moving on the map. But he will get the correct results of the fighting.

I just wanted to put out a shout-out for this mod,
I have downloaded it, and it has real promise![8D]

The members of this forum should take a look at what Dali101 has accomplished with this....lots of potential for scenario development beyond Operation Husky [;)]

Dali101 -> RE: HUSKY and others (9/30/2018 6:18:38 PM)

Dali101 -> RE: HUSKY and others (10/9/2018 6:25:43 AM)

New version of WitM 2.4

It contains:
SCN26 HUSKY, just a few small repairs of aircraft

SCN27 HUSKY Long, repairs of aircraft in the database, some minor repairs (supplies and fuel) as PBEM results. Small AI Behavioral Improvements.

SCN28 EXPORTER, a new small SCN depicting this operation in 1941.
In this scenario, ship speed was returned to normal.

Upload will be valid for 33 days. Dali

Dali101 -> RE: HUSKY and others (12/16/2018 7:08:00 PM)

No, it's just a tiny upgrade.

Preparing for a big screen is not easy. Reinforcements, AI, Operation Torch etc ....

Dali101 -> RE: HUSKY and others (12/25/2018 12:54:27 PM)

There is currently no active download.
But I'll look. I recently uploaded two players to upload. Maybe he still lives.

Dali101 -> RE: HUSKY and others (12/25/2018 12:59:42 PM)

I have prepared a package of the alternative Start Main Menu. In case of interest, install it in the ART directory.
