Yes, its true. TOAW IV comes next week. Start clearing the deck and set aside some time!

Can we use our coupon?

fogger -> RE: Operational Art of War releases 16th November! (11/7/2017 10:27:31 AM)

I have been testing FITE2 on TOAW 4. It is worth the wait. If Santa is only going to give you one present this year make sure it is TOAW 4.

The only problem is that Christmas is 7 weeks away so promise to be very good and asked for the present early.

Excellent news, well done, and congratulations to everyone involved [sm=happy0065.gif]

Outstanding. A nice hard cover manual would ice the cake. Great job getting this out in 2017.

We have updated the tutorial mission the previous game had, but we will also have a few videos explaining the game's systems.

AlessandroD -> RE: Operational Art of War releases 16th November! (11/7/2017 5:02:52 PM)

Damned...is it true then? [X(]

Rosseau -> RE: Operational Art of War releases 16th November! (11/7/2017 10:30:42 PM)

I'm both surprised and very impressed we are seeing this in 2017. Congratulations.

JPJ -> RE: Operational Art of War releases 16th November! (11/8/2017 2:24:26 AM)

Indeed fantastic, isn't it? TOAW is still being maintained and upgraded nearly 20 years after version I. I'm really curious to play it.

Ginetto -> RE: Operational Art of War releases 16th November! (11/8/2017 9:21:25 AM)

I'm anxious, like most of us, to get my hands on TOAW IV. However, a couple weeks' delay is less annoying than 2 or 3 months of patches and hotfix dribble. So if you need a few more days to tease out the last bugs, do it.

IslandInland -> RE: Operational Art of War releases 16th November! (11/8/2017 10:14:26 AM)

Great news. [:)]

*Lava* -> RE: Operational Art of War releases 16th November! (11/9/2017 1:43:42 AM)

I had a feeling it would drop before Christmas.

Congratulations Iain and to your team!

Fred98 -> RE: Operational Art of War releases 16th November! (11/9/2017 5:38:00 AM)

I'll wait for a few days after release and get it then.

I have trouble with TOAW3 so I hope the instructions are thorough.

The Operational Art of War IV - Preview

for those who haven't already watched it live

IainF -> RE: goody goody goody (11/14/2017 8:06:23 AM)

I can't wait for Thursday!

Not sure if only me but I found those live stream videos extremely annoying, no explanation of what was going on and some strange commentary at times!

erazerhead99 -> RE: goody goody goody (11/14/2017 10:02:35 AM)

Yeah, i also did not find them very useful. The commenter clearly had not that much understanding of the game.

Cfant -> RE: goody goody goody (11/14/2017 10:53:43 AM)

Jepp, they were useless. Just clicking around making some battles. Anyone who knew TOAW III couldn't learn anything about TOAW IV and who didn't know or like TOAW III could see nothing then random units in random hexes. Didn't look the streams much. I wonder, why they didn't just play a short PbEM-scenario?

Nemo69 -> RE: Operational Art of War releases 16th November! (11/14/2017 2:24:04 PM)

Excellent news!
Kudos all around.

MagicMissile -> RE: Operational Art of War releases 16th November! (11/14/2017 2:27:09 PM)

Been looking forward to it. Ill get it day one.

I agree and there are several to chose from.

jnpoint -> RE: goody goody goody (11/14/2017 7:35:08 PM)

Why wait - why not release now - I'm ready :)

Fred98 -> RE: goody goody goody (11/14/2017 8:29:48 PM)

Which was the tutorial scenario in TOAW3?

I think it was Korea 50-51 or something like that.
