ORIGINAL: Rayak Many many thanks to the development team. I ve bought all versions of TOAW, and I play the game nearly everyday. Still the best wargame ever published for me. You're more than welcome. It's a labor of love. I went to War in the East when it came out but soon tired of the same situation over and over and came back to TOAW because of the variety of scenarios. quote:
ORIGINAL: stian I've been eyeing this one for a long time now, and time to get back into some proper war-gaming. I love hex/counter-based games, but a lot of them have such a huge scope, like the entire eastern front, just too many units, I prefer the small or mid/battle sized scenarios it looks like there's a lot of that - perfect for me. I haven't stopped to count the number of scenarios available but I know there are entire web sites that have available scenarios and they number close to I'm thinking 1K or so. Here's the link to Rugged Defense. They have lots of scenaros. Free. http://www.the-strategist.net/RD/news.php EDIT: Um.....so some of the scenarios you find at Rugged Design are for most all versions of TOAW ( I, II, III, COW, etc. ) and might not be balanced anymore because of the new version being released but at least you can bring the scenario up to TOAW IV standards is to open the scenario in the editor and save it ( I use the same name for the filename ). That will associate the equipment list data into the scenario file itself and then the equipment list isn't needed anymore. Unless you want to edit the equipment used. Then just save it again. Fixed. quote:
ORIGINAL: stian Can't wait, hope not too many bugs <fingers crossed> [:)] It's impossible to find ALL of them but we've been working on this bad boy for a looooooooong time now. It's more ready than it's ever been.
