A good excuse to fire up Ageod's "Revolution Under Siege" which covers the Russian Civil War 1917-23.


If you try hard you may find a free demo of the original (not gold) version which gives you one scenario to try out.

An excellent board game is SPI's Russian Civil War. It plays like Kingmaker, with multiple factions fighting each other chaotically. It includes purges, the Czech Legion, and the Czar's gold.
