[WAD] No New weapon Contact Popup from Allies (Full Version)

A vampire is flying into allied radar coverage, I can see it on the map, but no message is generated in the message window and no popup window is shown until it is detected by my own side.

Is this WAD?

Build 972.11

How about either a save or a listing of what your message settings are? Otherwise kind of a vacuum.

What happens if you check-enable "New Weapon Contact" on the message log options?

I've had the same issue:

Apparently you don't get popups from allied units - it's to prevent pop-up spam.
