I enjoy playing historical scenarios from time to time.
BUT...
I absolutely love the hypothetical scenarios: Big Red vs Great Blue ("Blitzkrieg") was my all time favorite board game...I grew up playing that game for waaaay too many hours...happily though.
If you do intend on expanding the number of future scenarios, please consider adding something hypothetical. They don't need to be 200 turns, as in the Blitzkried example, but even a few in the 50ish turn range would be fabulous.
