This game is just totally awesome.
I have played two scenarios so far.
Soviet Union 1941 Mobile Variant, which i think everyone should play at least once was the bomb.
As Germany and the Axis, i sent the Russians back to the Stone Age.
Then I tried my hand at something more modern and played Kuwait 91 as the Coalition.
I might try that game again as Iraq next time, because they had no prayer versus the US.
Im going to Ia Drang 65 next and see if i can give the NVA a headache.
What scenarios have some of you Grognards played so far, what side and what was the outcome?

My first one after installing yesterday was Grenada 1983. It's perfect for the beginner.

Very short, just a few units to manage, totally impossible to screw up with Marines and Rangers against third-rate militia units, and also has everything from parachute assaults to amphibious landings on a map so small you don't even need to scroll.

Two scenarios!!! You haven't even scratched the surface. You will find it only gets better. One of the best things about TOAW is the scenarios can play so different from each other, using different scale, period, and unit sizes. One scenario you will find you can't stack units because they are Corps size or larger! After so many scenarios, I still get surprised on a new one once in awhile. The editor is very powerful and allows for some very creative setups.
I can't recall what were the best, there were so many of them. The game will not get old. Geez, it has been around for years and will continue so.

well, after getting my butt kicked from the NVA in IA Drang 65, i decided to test out the naval battles for a change.
I sank the American fleet in Pearl Harbor 1941 and got the Bismarck blown out from under me in Denmark Strait 1941.
The naval modelling of battles in TAOW IV is very unique and still requires getting used to it.
Now its back in time to WWI in France 14 to see if i can get the Germans to Paris!

Playing Berlin 1945 as I like late WW2 action with obscure German units.. On turn 4 and trying to prevent my lines from getting overrun by the Red Army
