If you are really nice to the staff, they will let you operate the machine. It comes with theee rotors, full plugboard — and everything works! Or, if you are so inclined, you can buy it for $225,000 and have your own Enigma. Makes a great conversation piece, and you can send and receive messages with a similarly-equipped friend.

(11/27/2017 10:45:55 PM) Having some experience with a post-WW2 descendant of the ENIGMA machine I can tell you that "the blush quickly comes off the rose" as far as using this thing. I'm sure it's pretty though...not likely it's $225,000 pretty.
