Olorin -> New Supply Rules? (12/3/2017 8:32:57 PM)

There must be a problem in my game.

Rail lines aren't treated as Supply Points. Values decrease the further away from a Supply Point a rail hex is, just as if no rail was there. Am I missing something?

Which scenario? I already reported a similar supply glitch to the developers. Please, dump the scenario file or the link to the cloud here.

Hi Oberst,
The scenario is Daniel McBride's Drang nach Osten 3.7.

It's not on the official list. I converted it to TOAW4 and made a few minor modifications such as I introduced an overextended threshold of 5 and decreased supply and readiness costs of movement.

I'll have a look when back after my 2nd daily hike in the now snow covered woods of my area...

Did you change the Improved Road Motorized Movement Divisor? That's a known problem that causes exactly this issue.

Still trying to review the scenario, which for some reason doesn't open in TOAW III or IV. I got a DNO version as well, but there it works.

@Olorin: Kalispera. Look, I can't open the .SCE; seems like it's still ACOW format.

As Bob remarked, check if you changed the IRMMD.

Version 3.4 of McBride's DNO works fine; can open it and the supply net works fine. So, again, make sure your v3.7 can be opened in order to have a look at it.

I changed it, yes.
Thanks for clearing this up.

Does this mean that your NA scenarios have this problem also? Not many rail hexes in those, so even if there is a problem there, they will still be playable. But DNO supply relies on working railroads.

p.s. Oberst, even if I messed it up it should still open, I have no clue why you can't open it. I checked DNO 3.7 and supply is working as it should be.

p.s.2. That's 15 hours down the drain. I have to restart a vanila DNO 3.7, instead of my genius mod. [:D]

Yep. Ralph claims to have a fix ready - but it hasn't been made public yet.

First link is the official DNO 3.7, ported to TOAW4.
Second link is my unofficial 3.71, with an Overextended Threshold of 5 and half the supply and readiness costs of movement.
