Hi,
playing PBEM++ game with both v 1.10.01 we get the error message below...[&:]

There is no version 1.10.02 online!!!! [sm=00000436.gif]

...and even if, there should be no forced updates! [:-]

The forced updates is because this game version is on the Beta game server & the idea is to make sure that everyone is playing the same version to stop CDT's when two people are playing each other with a different game build.
This problem seems to be the same bug that happened when 1.10.01 was released, someone has pressed a button prematurely [:-][:-][:-]

It happens every time despite Hubert's best efforts and is getting rather tedious.

I am getting same error at 0555 EST Tuesday 5 Dec 2017.

Lets not be to critical of Hubert and Matrix. They do an amazing job supporting changes/updates. As a very senior IT person I can say that stuff happens to the very best of IT support teams.

Incidentally there is a very good site on WWII here. Just learned of it this morning.

Apologies again guys, the client version number has been switched back again.

On a more positive note, this new Beta will feature a very significant game EVENT processing speed improvement to each turn that not only applies to PBEM++ but to the AI as well.

Here is a quote from a STEAM player I worked with to finalize the improvements:

I have great news...after some offline chatting, the devs (Hubert) gave me a new executable with some tweaks to the performance and it is now amazingly fast!! My problem is solved. They plan to deploy it to steam sometime soon and you will all enjoy the same benefit to the event processing speed!
