sPzAbt653 -> 653Hi - Historical OOB's (12/10/2017 7:01:27 PM)

This is a version of the original 1939 Campaign with historical Orders of Battle and historical unit names. No other changes have been made except a few scripts where necessary in order to remain consistent. 653Hi is not a 'mod' that can be added to other campaigns, it is a campaign that is run by itself.

Updated to SC3 v1.10.03:

How extensively did you have to change unit names from your previous 653 mods?

sPzAbt653 -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (12/13/2017 6:24:09 AM)

They are the same. This is what I intended to do initially, but I went wild and started making all kinds of changes. So now that I got that out of my system, I went back and did this.

Thank's !

I like this mod.

Curial -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/5/2019 8:26:04 PM)

Hi,
Since the last update, the Mod 653Hi doesn't work anymore.
It has been installed in Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War in Europe\Mods\<modfoldername>\Campaigns.
Actived in "Settings" but when I start the 1939 Storm over Europe campaign, it's vanilla not the mod.
Thanks in advance.

sPzAbt653 -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/7/2019 6:56:33 AM)

So sorry, but the 'in game MOD implementation' and v1.16 haven't inspired me. I don't know how these features affect things. I suppose it is my responsibility, and maybe one day I will look into it, but in the meantime perhaps someone else can provide a helpful response.

SCMIKE -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/13/2019 3:41:16 PM)

C:\Users\user\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War in Europe\Campaigns

that's the right place

mod folder only to modify campaign

653Hi is not a 'mod' that can be added to other campaigns, it is a campaign that is run by itself. I can see how there could be confusion, and have added a statement to post #1.

So where are you meant to place these files?

sPzAbt653 -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/30/2019 11:34:03 PM)

Good question ... see post #7, but that doesn't give you an answer, so see post #8, maybe that does give the answer.

roy64 -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/31/2019 6:31:53 AM)

No it doesn't. Out of interest whereabouts are you files located? C:\Users\user\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War in Europe\Campaigns doesn't work any more. I have the steam version.

sPzAbt653 -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/31/2019 7:39:59 AM)

Ok let me try again - I am anti-steam and haven't dl'd SC v1.16 and have not attempted the new mod setup, so I don't know what to tell you. I said that maybe someone else would give an answer and I thought SCMIKE did, but maybe not?

By the way, if you didn't realize it, your support of steam is part of the problem. Just Say No to third party leech-ware !

YAWN!

sPzAbt653 -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/31/2019 3:17:43 PM)

Glad to help!

budd -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/31/2019 4:57:05 PM)

I believe you have to download an updated community pack, which this scenario is apart of. I have both versions installed. For my steam version looks like the files are in the steam install folder:

Steam\steamapps\common\Strategic Command WWII War in Europe\Community Pack\Campaigns

For my Matrix version:

C:\users\your name\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War In Europe\Campaigns

sPzAbt653 -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/31/2019 5:39:53 PM)

I don't think 653Hi is in the Community Pack. 653H is.

budd -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/31/2019 5:52:32 PM)

Yup, your right sir, thanks for the correction. The campaign would probably install to the same location though, i'll install it and see.

budd -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/31/2019 6:26:56 PM)

Is this a stand alone, work by itself campaign? In the download there is only a bitmap and scripts folder, no interface, media, sound, text folders, that the other campaigns contain.

sPzAbt653 -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (5/31/2019 10:56:16 PM)

It is a stand alone campaign and should be available in your Campaign List. The zip file contains the files seen below, and the folder in the zip file contains the files in the center highlight.

budd -> RE: 653Hi - Historical OOB's (6/1/2019 12:10:03 AM)

I'm guessing that the campaign has to be run through the campaign converter for it to work and show. I've put it as is in every campaign folder with no luck. I believe the campaign converter was added in the last update, i found it in the extras folder.
