Soosh -> RE: How is the single player game? (12/14/2017 3:12:46 PM)

I purchased it a week ago and it’s more or less the only game I’m playing at the moment. Started the grand campaign as Austria against AI and had a lot of fun so far. The French kicked my arse on several occasions and seems to be more aggressive the closer you get to the border. The AI controlled nations are quite active, e.g. trying to influence minors, declaring wars, suing for peace, moving their troops etc. Having said that, there are times where the AI does weird things, like: - Marching through allied territory and not caring about supply, thus losing factors or whole corps due to attrition - Sitting with a huge stack in one area and not moving at all for several months - Moving units back and forth between two areas for reasons I don’t know But, these current shortcomings aside, it’s an addictive game that still gets the occasional patch. I would give it a go if you’re into that period in history, especially with the current sale going on.
