In any further upgrades of this great old game is it feasible to see a % towards success in R&D, such as in WITP-AE?

Regards,

AKL

If there are any further tweaks that can be done to R&D, they will be looked at. As far as some kind of new system for that, it is not going to happen.

I am not familiar with what has been done with WITP so I can't say. Simovitch has a better handle on R&D than I do and may be able to give you a more enlightened answer.

Yes, this is possible. This feature was supposed to have been developed by Harley but I'm not seeing it in the version that was given to us.
It would be nice to have.

Hey guys. I don’t remember intent to offer a view of the current progress other than the currently scheduled arrival. Whilst I’ve posted the maths behind the new system previously I think I always wanted some mystery there.

It’s worth noting there is no RNG in this, it’s pure math. Make the required parts, hit the threshold and win.

Hi Harley, from the dev forum you wrote:

On the "List Air Units" page I have:
added filters by role
added "show enemy" button
added show total units, losses, replacements for player
added show losses for enemy <without any replacement or pool details>
added "upgrade type"
added research %

[:)]
But I agree that research progress to completion should be kept somewhat mysterious.

The final release patch will be out soon and you will be able to use your save games, so don't be afraid to test away.

lol this isn't the first thing you've called me out for saying a million years ago that I've forgotten. I dare say it will not be the last.
