This thread is intended to get an updated link of all mods which still have working links for the mod for Distant Worlds Universe.
I have gathered links together from the out of date DWU mods list and gone back through the last 3 pages of the modding posts.
Please leave a comment and the URL link for any other mods that should be included in this list. At this stage this list is for all mods that have been released i one way or another as files that can be downloaded.

Bacon Mod - Version 1.77

A recommended mod... below are only some of the features of this mod
Gravity wells around stars
Adjustable hyperjump minimum distance and accuracy
Ability for more than one picture of each ship type for each ship family (Cruiser1.png, Cruiser2.png, etc.
Empires can build all ship types (Freighters, gas miners, etc). These are state ships for cost and upkeep.
Crew experience levels and kill stats tracking.
Fighter aces.
Civilian weapon limit expanded from 1 to 10.
Ship-Finder - a popup box to search for any ship, planet, or star by name.

New Thruster FX

Proton thrusters are now dull orange...Acceleros are blue...Quantum are purple-ish...All three share the same jet plume with shock cone look. Vortex engines are pink-ish...And Turbothrusters are green...Both share the same fuzzy cone plume effect...Starburner has a red spiral.
