It would be very nice to know the casualties in a scenario so far. Both by friends and enemies. The number of men killed, AFVs, trucks, horses, tanks and aircraft.

I'm sure it's possible. Just make a simple excel file which converts squads and equipment to appropriate casualty numbers. With the logic of 1 rifle squad = 10 men, for example. It could be moddable as well.

Was it the case in TOAW1 that the game told you how many aircraft had been destroyed during the whole scenario?

You can look at your Inventory and Replacements list during the game. At the end you can see it for both sides [not sure about pbem, but should be the same].

I know that... but I'd like to know enemy casualties too.

Well, if you don't mind looking at the enemy's positions that are covered by the FOW, you could take command of the AI side during its turn. Of course, that doesn't work for PBEM.

The reason there isn't such a thing is that different equipment has different compositions which will vary from scenario to scenario. So you are asking Ralph to invent such a thing and for scenario designers to then adjust it for each scenario. Weigh it out, what you are asking for compared to you keeping track of it yourself by monitoring the Combat Reports or by checking the End of Game I&R report.

But if people keep asking, it might happen one day [:)]

Well, there are possibilities for statistic nerds - reading out the sitrep logs and some knowledge of Excel (or a similar program). Together with Uncle Larry's tool it looks quite neat.

I am sure I posted it in on of the Tutorial 'xx threads, but here it is again. Unzip it in a folder, preferably CLV or Combat Loss Viewer. In order to read the results as shown, start the main program and point it to the sitrep log you want to read out. It will generate a .html; that you simply double click and you see the results in your browser.
