Most of you seem to be good enough to qualify as plane experts [:)] Btw. the aircraft descriptions are actually not that bad, compared to others on mainstream sites. However there is also a quiz about WW2 and I found at least 3 "correct" answers there a bit questionable... One being the end of ww2 , they say it is may 45. but this was only the end of the european war. (DISREGARD, I was wrong they actually name both dates!) 2nd being most casualities (overall not only soldiers), they say it was the USSR, but was it not China? 3rd being the hardest battle of the US, they say it was the Ardennes, but was it not some pacific actions or even Hurtgenwald? Edit, a 4th may be, which famous US leader did lead the troops in the ardennes and in france, their answer is Patton, but he only commanded an army (right?). Even Bradley would be more correct as he commanded an army group, but it would be Eisenhower right?
