I have been since the game came out. I use Parallels Desktop to run Windows. Yes, you can bootcamp and boot into Windows, but I've used Parallels for years, long before CMANO, in part to be able to run some scientific computing programs. Parallels has one advantage that bootcamp doesn't in that the virtual machine is just a big file on the Mac. If something goes wrong you throw it away and start again.

To make a long story short I DID have a problem with the Parallels virtual machine being corrupted, and had to trash it, because I couldn't open it at all. Parallels just sat and spun its wheels. I took the opportunity to update to Parallels 13, and had to order a new W10 installation since mine was an upgrade from W7.

The part I wanted to mention to other Mac users is that Parallels 13 seems to do a much better job of handling the Retina display on my MacBook Pro. As a result, everything looks clearer and brighter. I had held off updating because my existing Parallels version (11) seemed just fine.

Also had to reinstall C;MANO from scratch, and I'm happy to say that went well (if long just because of having to download installer, patch, images, descriptions, community scenarios, and install all those). But starting new I was able to put in serial numbers all at once for everything I own (which is everything except Brexit). That made getting up and running pretty straightforward. Kudos to whoever designed that part of the installer. It really helps doing a re-installation.

The one bad part is that I was about 10 scenarios into Northern Inferno and lost the saves for that. I'll probably go in and edit the campaign file so that I can "pass" the last one I finished. I enjoy the storyline so I don't really want to play them individually.

What year /model Mac do you have?

2015 13" MacBook Pro, 8GB RAM, 2.9 Ghz Intel Core i5, Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536mb, and running macOS High Sierra (10.13.2)

I used to have a 15" but scaled down this time for traveling ease. The Retina display more than makes up for the loss of 2" of screen.

I've run CMANO on my 2011 iMac (3.4ghz I7/6970m) and it runs ok but only for smaller scenarios. It flies on my new Ryzen though. I'm a version behind in parallels I think.

I have no issues at all running it on Bootcamp, Win 7.
