Looks like Comrade Bozo is incognito!

I am up for a campaign game.

I had tried a couple in the past, with people here, but they dropped out (either I was too good, or maybe not good enough). I am very experienced in war games. With WITE, I have played much against the computer; either side I always seem to win! Imagine that? Even given the Computer several advantages.

I assume I am an intermediate player. Would like to play a game where I sweat a little like the Soviets actually did; but don't need to be defending Stalingrad in 1941. I tend to micromanage everything.

My Strategies are simple: 1) RUN!!! 2) RUN FASTER!!! 3) If 1 or 2 don't work, think up another strategy fast!

Weather can be either, although when random, one tends to get an extra turn or two, when historical the winter starts earlier and on time.

1) I like traditional blizzard,
(have been in eastern Europe in winter; its damn cold right to your bones, and I am a Canadian!)
2) Everything else should be even.
3)I can go either way with Locked support
(though it would mean the need for adim points that are not there, so not sure how people tolerate it)
4) Don't know what this sudden death campaign game is
(wish somebody would tell me; does it force an end to the game when somebody is too proud to give up?).
5) Don't do pbem's.
6)Don't like this amphib stuff in the east.
7) Paradrops? why not!
8)Bombing HQ's, (if ya see it, its a target).

Willing to discuss negotiate anything else.
Can play at 4 or 5 turns a week, after the initial onslaught, maybe more.

FYI-I want to be Soviet!!! (not negotiable)

Did you play Bozo before? Or you just have an affinity for him?

No takers?

As I told Hardluck in a PM, I have not played Bozo, we just got along when I was on here a few years back. I liked Bozo's ingenuity in gaming, and he told me he really is a clown; I thought that was super cool!

When I say I can play 4 or 5 turns a week, that is only a maximum, to weed out gaming fanatics. If you can do a minimum of 2 turns per week, then we are good.

As for bragging about beating the AI (it was sarcasm), as the AI is as dumb as a billiard ball, though much improved.

Still awaiting an opponent!

And so after much discussion and negotiation, with the newly appointed German Ambassador, Bitburgerdraft, the President of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics has declared on the radio to all the loyal members of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, whom each and everyone knows to listen intently, that indeed the previous treaties between Germany and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, will continue unchanged.

In honour of this continual established peace and friendship between Germany and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the President of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, has asked that the radio broadcasts a German translation of a very favorite song, in commemoration of the founders of our political ideology!

Such is to be followed by hits our great leader has requested, including one he thinks our new friend AH would like!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V92OBNsQgxU

Finally, our Great Soviet Leader has decreed to all senior general Staff, that all members of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics military shall each receive a bottle of Vodka in celebration, of our Presidents Great Negotiating ability and leadership!

Long Live the People's Soviet Republic!

Do I hear an AAR coming with this too?

lastkozak -> RE: Looking for a German Player (1/19/2018 12:04:10 AM)

That would be up to my opponent. Not computer savvy enough to figure the screen shots and edit the pics, so I do not give away information to my opponent. I could post a pic, after my Winter offensive, if it goes well, uh.. when it goes well, and a lot of medals are awarded!
